MIT is all about community and people coming together to help each other succeed to the best of their ability and Te Tari Mātauranga Māori back your success by providing a home away from home and a central hub of all things Māori at Ngā Kete Wānanga Marae.
As well as the events and workshops we run, our staff can help you navigate your education journey by pointing you in the direction of other MIT services and organisations listed below such as:
- Student support services such as the Ask Me! team who assist with student services including enrolment and course information, timetables and student ID cards.
- Student support advisors – specialised team members can help get you sorted before and during your learning journey.
- Funding, government and community initiatives for Māori students such as the Māori and Pasifika Trades Training (MPTT) scholarship and the Te Ara Oranga programme for nursing and health students.
