As a student at Manukau Institute of Technology, you are required to read, understand and abide by the following regulations and policies.

Te Kawa Maiorooro

Manukau Institute of Technology (MIT) is transitioning to join a single network of vocational education providers: Te Pūkenga. Te Pūkenga has developed Te Kawa Maiorooro, Te Pūkenga educational regulatory framework, which covers regulations that affect learners, like enrolment and assessment procedures, complaints, appeals and graduation processes.??Te Kawa Maiorooro has not yet replaced all of MIT’s policies and procedures, so where something is not covered by Te Kawa Maiorooro, MIT’s own policies and procedures still apply.

If you have any questions about this framework, contact studentlife@manukau.ac.nz.

Regulations

Regulations are detailed documents approved by the Te Pūkenga Council, which set out the rules governing matters affecting all students at Te Pūkenga. Regulations are binding and are reviewed regularly.
